Director of the Graditz Principal Stud

 Siegmund Hintsche

Siegmund Hintsche was born on the 13th of March 1956. After successfully graduating as an agricultural engineer, he started working as a horse trainer at Radegast stud in 1981 and collected several show jumping achievements up to most advanced levels.

Siegmund Hintsche is qualified as a master of horsemanship for both focus areas classical riding and breeding and husbandry. He is also qualified as a competition and breeding judge and has been the committee chairman (committee of education) at the state association of the Riding and Driving Club Saxony-Anhalt since 2002. His membership of two audit committees (Saxony-Anhalt and Westphalia) for the profession qualified stable hand complements his equestrian career.

From 1994 til 2005 he was the director of the state riding and driving school as well as the performance test station in Prussendorf. From 2005 til 2018 he was the director of the saxon-anhalt state stud Prussendof. Since the 1st of March 2018 Siegmund Hintsche is working as the stud director of the Graditz principal stud besides being the deputy director of the saxon state stud administration.
